The company uses an authorized dealer network, internal sales team and branch offices to sell and install its security systems. The company serves customers in California, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina. In Oklahoma, the company does business as Guardian Security Services.

Central Security Group was co-founded in 1999 by Mark Wilson and Harry Schenk, who teamed with Stolberg, Meehan & Scano.
